Helm Lane Lot 32 culvert

    A problem arose when it was discovered that a greenbelt abutting Cressy lane and being used as storm water drainage conveyance did not extend to Helm Lane but ended at the west end of Lot 32 directing the flow of the water onto that lot.  As long as the lot remained vacant there was not a problem.  However the Lot owner decided to build and brought the problem to the attention of the Drainage District.  An agreement was reached whereby the Lot Owner would install a culvert transporting the water to the county ditch on Helm Lane.  The owner would pay for the installation of the culvert and the District would pay for the materials.  The project was completed in 2005.
